EXAMPLES
REFERRING A SELLER
Agent Adams from London refers us their client who would like to sell their apartment in New York. New York Casas gets the listing and it sells for $2,250,000. The referral fee to agent Adams will be 35% of the commission.
REFERRING A BUYER
Attorney Magelhaes from Sao Paulo refers us their client who would like to buy an apartment for his son who will be attending Columbia University. The apartment they buy sells for $1,000,000, meaning attorney Magelhaes will receive 25% of the commission.
REFERRAL FROM A REFERRAL
Agent Lacrue from Paris refers a client who would like to buy a property in New York but afterwards decides not to move forward. In the process, the client refers New York Casas to a friend that does end up purchasing a property that year with New York Casas as the buyer’s agent for $5,000,000. In this case Agent Lacrue will receive 50% of the commission.
SECONDARY DEALS
Attorney Richtiger from Berlin refers a client that purchases a new development unit on 5th Avenue for $1,500,000 and as such will receive a 25% referral from New York Casas. That same year, the client’s brother also buys a unit in that development for $2,500,000. Again, attorney Richtiger will receive the agreed referral, this time 35%.
